Beth Chapman, Wife Of Dog The Bounty Hunter, Dead At 51

The wife of Duane Dog Chapman, known Dog The Bounty Hunter, has died at the young age of 51-years-old after a long battle.

Beth Chapman passed away on Wednesday after being in a medically induced coma for days, The Daily Mail reported.

Duane Dog Chapman tweeted that his wife ‘hiked the stairway to heaven’ at 5:32 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

‘It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain,’ he wrote. ‘Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.’

The wife of Dog The Bounty Hunter was hospitalized over the weekend and placed in a medically-induced coma after suffering breathing problems.

Beth’s mother flew to Honolulu and her children and grandchildren also  gathered ‘at her bedside’ as sources reported yesterday there’s ‘not a lot that can be done’ for her at this point.

Beth Chapman, the wife of Dog The Bounty Hunter, has been placed in a medically induced coma and is in dire condition.

“Please say your prayers for Beth right now thank you love you,” her husband, Duane Dog Chapman, said in a tweet on Sunday, CNN reported.

Chapman, 51, starred with her husband on the A&E reality show “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” which ran from 2004 to 2012. The show followed Dog, the mulleted bounty hunter, and his platinum blond wife Beth, who formed a ferocious team with other family and colleagues and tracked down bail fugitives.

The show filmed in Hawaii as well as Colorado, and the two got married in 2006 in a season three episode.

The couple then starred in “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt,” a spin-off that aired on CMT from 2013 to 2015.

But in September 2017, they used their Facebook account to announce Chapman had been diagnosed with Stage 2 throat cancer.

They revealed during an A&E special “Dog & Beth: DuaFight of Their Lives” in November 2017 that the cancer had been removed, but it came back last year.

She was hospitalized in April due to an accumulation of fluid in her lungs, and doctors performed an emergency procedure to alleviate pressure, the couple said at the time.

“My wife, the love of my life, is fighting for her life, and instead of being at home helping her, I’m out here looking for you,” Duane Dog Chapman said in a promo for his new show “Dog’s Most Wanted.”

“So I’m warning you in advance: May God have mercy on you when I catch you. Because I won’t,” he said in the promo.

Chapman also tweeted a story about his wife’s condition from Hawaii News Now that was titled “Family: Beth Chapman of bounty hunting fame in medically-induced coma at Queen’s.”

Duane Chapman said, in a statement to Hawaii News Now, that the family “humbly ask everyone to please pray for Beth.”

And they wanted to send their “sincere thanks to everyone for their prayers throughout Beth’s battle with cancer.”

“Beth has valiantly battled the disease, hitting the town in Beverly Hills with her husband in the midst of her health crisis,” TMZ said.
